Trick or treat?

I carved a pumpkin! Our student's union had this event so I went and rushed to carve a pumpkin in my 30 minutes gap before my Lab Practical.

I still remember how I always wanted to go treat or trick after watching all those cartoons when I was young. All those candies and fun! But it just wasn't the thing for Malaysians really.

The first time I really did dress up for Halloween was in 2002 at an English tuition centre actually. Honestly, my outfit was pretty cool. I just basically took a white cloth and cut two holes. Budget much? And I'm serious about my previous statement. No joke. Haha.

Halloween here is like a massive event. Even days before the exact day, you see guys wearing tutus and girls wearing wedding dresses going around on buses and trams. Then people in red or blue paint just randomly comes up to you and dance. And you'll see them all dressed up for a day's thrill at the theme park.
There was this event going on in the City Centre called Fright Night where people dress up for Halloween and all. There were all those fun fair games and rides which were really cool. Not to mention, delicious food too!

I bought this pack of lollipop, thinking kids would come around me for "Treat or Trick", but sadly, none came.

Wait..Or does this tradition no longer exist? I have no idea. Still feel kinda sad about this.

Oh wells, I gave out the lollipop to random people and they were pretty fascinated by how cute and colorful they were.

This was what my flatmates did to another flatmate's room door. She was away for the weekend so they decided to have some fun there. Pretty cool though, it was just blu tack and probably cotton to make the fake spider webs. They even decorated the corridor and common room. Really builds up the Halloween mood there.

It's great to experience Halloween here for the first time. Anyways, do watch out for your back. Don't let the devil bite!
