Took a day trip to Chester, Britannia's heritage city that was once conquered by the Romans.
It's the kind of town you'd take a day off to visit and relax a little. But do check the weather forecast before you go there. As I stepped out of the train upon reaching Chester, I could see raindrops gently landing on my coat (sounds a little poetic no?).
Due to the lack of materials, I screenshot the map of Chester from Google Maps, then edited the route with Photoshop and stored the picture in my phone. Then sort of had another piece of paper with details of each and every location. It was kinda fun doing this. I normally just write down where I wanna go and go from east west north south just to look for it. Pretty proud of myself actually, heh.
These are two Huskies. On the left is a Siberian Husky that's 4 years old and on the right is an Alaskan Husky that's 4 months old. Oh boy was the Alaskan Husky huge even though it's younger. The Siberian one seemed to have smoother fur though.
Here's an owl we found at the Christmas Market. Everyone was so fascinated there was a huge crowd surrounding it. The owl was quite tamed but kept howling, maybe it was pretty annoyed, "You fools, havent you see an owl before?!"
And there was this park with squirrels that would follow and come close to you. They just really wanted food though. But it was a little scary considering the fact that they might just overpower you with their troops.
Anyways, okay.. I know I'm like showing photos of animals instead of the attractions there. Well, Chester is kinda known for its Zoo, but I didn't go there. Truth is..my battery died. It was freezing cold that day and raining, I was shaking in the train station. Not only did my camera battery energy dissipated fast, my energy was drained out. Couldn't take out my camera much as it was raining too.
And what's sad was that, the weather turned good after my battery died. And here is a photo of River Dee taken using my phone! Really beautiful place. I was so exhausted from walking, I basically just lazed on the bench and relaxed while listening to the squealing of the gulls and quacking of the ducks.
Well, I guess sometimes things are better remembered using your brain camera. :)
